Great Job kids, the 10 and unders just finished up and are packing up as our 500 swimmers are warming up in the pool now, we have 4 swimmers swimming that event in just a few minutes - good luck in the 500.

Good luck also to the 11 and overs as they will get started with warm ups about 1:35 and then ready for a great afternoon of swimming!

Pumpkin

It was early, 6:45am, and cold, about 30 degrees, but with everyone roaring and ready its going to be a great day today in Circleville. Off to a great start with the first few events under our belt, the kids are exciting and awaiting their next event. Stay tuned to the blog today for more information.

Results ... Not Yet

We know that many of the swimmers were looking for results and ribbons last night and more will be looking tonight. We apologize but the results from Sunday have not been entered in to produce the awards labels etc.

Good Job 1st Meet

Waves you all did an awesome job today.  Everyone came and gave their all in the meet and each and every parent is very proud of you.  Watch this blog in the next few days for more about the results!

First Meet

Well, it's time the first meet of the season is today, just a few hours away.  The swimmers are excited and so are the parents.  It seems like just yesterday that practice started for the season, and now they will hit with a splash at 1pm today with the PICY Prihana's at home.  Good Luck Waves as you hit the water today - remember we are all very proud of you!

1st Meeting

We had a great turn out at both the committee meeting and parent meeting last night.  There was a lot of information shared and updates provided.  We encourage you to contact any of the advisory committee or any committee chair if you have questions about the opportunities that exist for you to help the team this year.  We can be VERY successful but we need your help. 

The Coach had a great introduction last night, don't forget that our swimmers need that 9 - 10 hours of sleep and healthy diets with limited caffine.

Don't forget Sunday's Dive Into the Season Pot Luck Cook Out.  We will begin at 12:30pm in the Pavilion outback of the Y.

Season underway with Practices starting

After this evenings practice, all age groups have had the chance to practice in the water at least one time this season.  All of our swimmers have met the coaching staff and are practicing hard, showing what it takes to be a Wave!  The coaching staff are working with all the swimmers in their age groups the first couple of weeks this season, at which time they will work to place swimmers in groups based on their competency and experience.  Parents will be notified of that change once it is scheduled to occur.

Parents are reminded that we still need volunteers for parent committees, and please mark your calendar for the dates listed below.

Well we are only a few days away from the official start of the season.  As a team we have exciting news, our coaching staff is set for the season and have been working together to get prepared for practice that starts on Tuesday.  We have scheduled a welcome back pot luck lunch to be held at the Y on Sunday September 19 starting at 12:30pm, please stay tuned to your email and our website http://www.columbusnorthwaves.info/ for more information.
